About The Depot

Atchinson, Topeka and Santa Fe Depot
The Depot, built in 1887, served the Santa Fe's passengers as well as passengers from Kansas City, Leavenworth, and the the western rainway inter-urban trolley until the late 1930's. It also accommodated Santa Fe frighet operations until the late 1982. In 1983 Charles E. Jaster purchased and restored the depot. It was placed on the national register of historic places in 1986.
